Our Journey
Our Love for British Shorthairs: The BritsofUSA StoryOur journey with British Shorthairs began in 2015 with Phoebe, a delightful Blue Scottish Straight. Her playful and affectionate nature inspired us to share the joy of this wonderful breed with others.
In 2022, we embarked on a quest to find the perfect foundation for our cattery. While searching in the UK, unforeseen circumstances brought us to Odesa, Ukraine, where we discovered Mira, a stunning chocolate British Shorthair Queen. Mira’s beauty and resilience captured our hearts, making her the first Queen of BritsofUSA.
Shortly after, King Alan, known for his rare dominant blue-eye gene, and the elegant bi-color Queen Vita joined our growing cattery family. Together, they form the core of our breeding program, producing premium-quality British Shorthair kittens in rare and classic colors.
At BritsofUSA, we treat every cat as a cherished family member. Raised in a loving environment, our cats enjoy the best care, allowing their sweet, gentle temperaments to shine. Each British Shorthair kitten that leaves our cattery brings joy, companionship, and the spirit of love that defines our journey.
We value transparency and maintain an active presence on social media under the name "BritsofUSA" on Instagram. This allows prospective owners to follow our journey and confidently trace the purebred lineage of their kittens.
